about

I recorded dozens of tracks for this. It was funnnnn. That's Davis Connors with me in the track art.

lyrics

I grabbed my coloring book
I painted the shells within
I had a second look
The faces felt too thin, oh

(I fought the man and I sold the sand and I sailed the seas and no one is getting away, oh)

The water's getting deep
It's coming past my knees
I wonder what it's like
To feel the breeze if you're a tree

(Kill all the jews and kill the nation kill all the nazis too, oh)

I felt a flame within
I'd left my wick unchecked
The fire did begin
To escape my neck

(There is a nihilist tendency to reduce and reduce and reduce and reduce and reduce)

The grass between my toes is separated
What was it in me chose to flatten some by not some?

(If you say a word many times it may lose its meaning)

I took a picture of the dying sun
But then when night set in it didn't light nothin'

I took a walk along the cold concrete
I heard the sounds above, but not a soul'd I meet, oh

The grass, and the roots, and the leaves on the trees
And that time that you spoke with your eyes on me
And the day that darkness filled my eyes
And the way that the sun made me feel alive, oh
